ABOUT THE SERVICE SITE
The McKinley South End Academy is a school located in the heart of the South End which serves students with severe emotional and learning disabilities. With its dedicated faculty and student body, the school is truly a beacon of light in the community. Along with recent renovations in and around the facility, the murals that will be painted will go a long ways towards brightening the hallways, while the bookcases and cubbies will improve the functionality of the classrooms and complete the transformation of this building into a place that students and faculty can proudly call their own. Service will take place down the street at the South End Salvation Army.

ABOUT THE SERVICE
At the Salvation Army, volunteers will spend the day working on a variety of projects. These will include:
- painting panel murals to be placed in the lobby area, hallways, cafeteria and stairwells
- constructing 6 short bookcases
- constructing 2 cubby units

SERVICE DAY SCHEDULE
9:30 AM: Registration
10:00 AM: Service Begins
12:00 PM: Lunch
3:00 PM: Clean Up Begins
3:30 PM: Service Ends
